Emily Blunt continued her designer style streak in a custom look by Stella McCartney for Thursday night’s “Disclosure Day” premiere in London.
The Oscar-nominated “Oppenheimer” actress wore an architectural peplum gown in French lace, woven from organic cotton and forest-friendly viscose in a shade of lilac. The gown also included hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals, mimicking the lilac tone of the dress.
The strapless bodice of Blunt’s gown found subtle inspiration from look five in McCartney’s pre-fall 2026 collection — a corseted piece with exposed boning and semi-sheer fabric with floral lace detailing and a sculpted, architectural design as well.

While the peplum detail of the gown gave Blunt’s dress added structure and a contemporary bent, the skirt of the ensemble, also crafted in semi-sheer fabric and featuring a bevy of Swarovski crystals in the same ornate lace pattern, streamlined the ensemble with an A-line silhouette.
Shimmering embellishments continued to serve as a major motif for Blunt’s look. The actress accessorized her London premiere Stella McCartney dress with diamond drop earrings and a bracelet by Hassanzadeh. Statement rings were also added to her look.
As for glam, the actress’ hair was slicked back with a middle part and coiffed by stylist Laini Reeves. Blunt’s makeup continued the lilac color motif with vibrant eye shadow by Jenn Streicher. And her nails were cast in a complementary shade of lilac to further augment the dress. Blunt’s look was curated by stylist Jessica Paster.
Custom pieces have been a trend for Blunt’s recent red carpet appearances. Prior to Thursday night’s “Disclosure Day” London premiere, the actress joined her costars in Paris on Tuesday for the film’s premiere, wearing a custom Alaïa dress loosely inspired by the brand’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, “Disclosure Day” follows a group of people as they reckon with the confirmation of extraterrestrial life. The film hits theaters June 12.
